RPB Safety
I started at RPB Safety as a graphic designer and after a short time my position shifted to a primary focus on video editing. My role as video editor involved creating video content for RPB, from emotive brand videos and case studies, through to product videos and technically focussed how-to videos. Additional responsibilities included maintaining online platforms such as websites and social media, and taking on overflow design projects as and when needed.

Video
The production of emotive brand videos in particular were always a collaborative effort from the whole team from concept generation, shooting the video, and production of the final video. Core responsibilities throughout the process included storyboarding, editing of the video itself including selection of audio and creation of motion graphics, and distribution/uploading of the final video to various platforms. Additional involvement included shoot planning/organising and providing direction on the shoots themselves.

The Importance of Respiratory Protection, an emotive brand video highlighting different perspectives of respiratory protection from a selection of end users within the fabrication and construction industries.

Looking through a ViewMaster this video tells the story of a welder, and shows two paths their life might take depending on their choice of respiratory protection.
